Natural Dye Workshop -9/20

Join us for an afternoon of natural dyeing. This workshop will be an introduction to natural dyes and dyeing techniques. We will be working with an array of seasonal botanicals, flowers, tree barks and vegetables scraps. 

We will explore colors through water color papers, fabric swatches, and a silk pillow. No experience is necessary. We invite you to bring two to three pieces of your old clothes/textiles that have been buried in the back of your closet and in need for some TLC. We will serve tea and some light snacks. 

The workshop will be from 1-3 at our Chinatown NYC studio. Each student will receive one complimentary silk pillow to dye.
