International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Kindly note all international orders are final sale and may be subject to taxes/duties upon arrival in your country, which are buyers responsibility.

When will my order be shipped?

Items will ship within 8-12 business days of order placement.

Custom robes will take 6-8 weeks to ship.

Can I have my order sent to a location that's not my billing address?

Yes. When you fill out the billing and shipping sections at checkout, you can specify where you would like something sent, if it’s different from the billing address.

Materials + Care

What kind of silk do you use?

We exclusively use high quality 100% mulberry fed silkworms for our silk. The resultant cocoons are boiled to kill the silkworm before the long continuous fibers from the cocoons are unwound and spun into thread, then woven into fabrics. As far as sustainability, the mulberry trees require very little except water, and all trees are good for our planet.

Do all the hand-dyed items look exactly like their picture?

We embrace colors making each piece one of a kind. Some of the patterning you see in the example image may differ slightly from the handmade item you receive.

Due to the nature of small batch dyeing with fibre reactive dyes, small flecks of composite colors may appear on your fabric when the dye separates.

What's the difference between silk and raw silk?

Our raw silk, a fabric known as Silk Noil, is a Regenerative Agriculture Smooth Silk Noil purchased from a business that creates environmentally conscious textiles through the best practices in the industry.

They've set their standards high with transparent business practices and a trusted supply chain by integrating socially and environmentally responsible approaches to benefit all stakeholders, communities, and nature.

It's a nubby fabric in a natural off-white color. It has a somewhat rough texture but it has a soft gentle drape.

The texture of silk noil can be surprising. It is flannel/cotton like with short nubby slubs.

Silk Noil is untreated silk reeled from the cocoon and covered with a protein called seracin. Seracin contains amino acids and collagen that can be directly absorbed into the skin.  If you rub the silk noil on your skin you can feel the moisturizing benefits to your skin. It's great to use if you struggle with dry skin, acne, and eczema.

How do I take care of my silk item?

We suggest using a mild detergent specifically for silk that does not include bleach, brighteners, and softeners. We recommend cool water and placing the items inside a mesh laundry bag for further protection.

For drying, the best option is hang dry away from direct sunlight. If that is not convenient, one may use the 'air only' dry cycle on a dryer. Please avoid heat as it will damage the silk protein, remove the shiny sheen and decrease the silks durability.

To maintain silk longevity we recommend hand washing with a gentle detergent like Meyers and hang drying.

What do I do if I spill something on a silk item?

Dab spills immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth. Then, if needed, use an appropriate spot cleaner. Pretest any cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding.

Do not saturate fabric with cleaner. Pat instead of rubbing to avoid damaging the fabric. Clean spots or stains from the outside to the middle of affected are to prevent circling.

Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic stiff bristle brush to restore appearance.
